Ex-president warns against use of force ahead of Catalan referendum

Ljubljana/Barcelona, 29 September - Slovenia's first President Milan Kučan has called for dialogue and advised against the use of force ahead of the Catalan independence referendum planned for Sunday. The newspaper Večer, meanwhile, reports that Slovenia's first Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel will head the group of international observers in Catalonia.
