Presidents handed out a total of 1,281 state decorations

Ljubljana, 9 October - The presidents of Slovenia have so far handed out a total of 1,281 state decorations, with the country's first President Milan Kučan (1992-2002) handing out the most and Danilo Türk (2007-2012) the fewest. Some of the decorated individuals did not want to accept their decorations or rejected them in protest.
