Gymnastics: Bertoncelj fails to win medal

Montreal, 8 October - Sašo Bertoncelj, Slovenia's main hope at the Gymnastics World Championships in Canada's Montreal, placed last in the pommel horse final, scoring 12.966 after he fell at the start of the exercise. Gold was defended last evening by British Max Whitlock (15.441) and silver went to Russian David Belyavskiy.
