Jožef Stefan, only Slovenian to give name to a physical law
Ljubljana, 29 November - Jožef Stefan (1835-1893) is the only Slovenian scientist after whom a physical law of nature was named - the Stefan-Boltzmann law, which describes the power radiated from a black body in terms of its temperature. He is also the scientist that gave his name to Slovenia's largest and most prominent research institute.
