Slovenia critical of border checks extension planned by six Schengen countries

Luxembourg, 13 October - The decision of six Schengen zone members to extend internal border control measures undermines one of the EU's key achievements, Interior Ministry State Secretary Andrej Špenga said on the sidelines of an internal affairs ministerial in Luxembourg on Friday. It is up to the European Commission to respond accordingly, he said.
