Ljubljana, Maribor get EU funds for innovative urban projects

Ljubljana/Maribor, 16 October - Slovenia's two biggest cities have obtained several million euros in EU funds for two separate projects from Urban Innovative Actions (UIA), an EU initiative encouraging cities to test new and unproven solutions to address urban challenges. Ljubljana will explore the uses of invasive species, while Maribor will recycle waste soil.
