Maribor finds money for stadium facelift, scraps health centre renovation

Maribor, 17 October - The Maribor city council adopted changes to the city's 2018 budget in a fast-track procedure late on Monday after Maribor FC fans announced a rally to demand a facelift for the club's stadium. In the end, councillors earmarked EUR 5.5m for the stadium, up EUR 1.5m from initial plans, the newspaper Večer reported Tuesday.
