Govt nominates Justice Minister Klemenčič for CoE human rights commissioner

Ljubljana, 18 October - The government decided on Wednesday to nominate Justice Minister Goran Klemenčič for human rights commissioner of the Council of Europe. The successor of Nils Muižnieks will be appointed at the CoE plenary in January. A shortlist consisting of three candidates will be announced in late November.
