Red light for criminal procedure act changes persists

Ljubljana, 19 October - The National Assembly failed to reverse an upper chamber veto on changes the criminal procedure act on Thursday. No coalition party but the ruling Modern Centre Party (SMC) would get on board for the changes, which have been taking flack for allegedly undermining suspects' rights.
