Ljubljana SNG theatre honours poet Škerl with opera
Ljubljana, 24 October - Opera and poetry fans will be in for a treat on Tuesday evening, as the Ljubljana SNG Opera and Ballet puts on stage for the first time Ada, an opera honouring Ada Škerl, one of the overlooked Slovenian female poets. The libretto was written by writer Ivo Svetina, while composer Tomaž Svete wrote the music.
