Upper chamber head honours fallen WWII soldiers in Žužemberk

Žužemberk, 21 October - National Council President Mitja Bervar addressed on Saturday a commemoration honouring more than 2,200 soldiers of different nationalities who fell in fights near Žužemberk in southeastern Slovenia. The atrocities of war and its victims must never be forgotten, he said at the ceremony held each year ahead of All Saints Day.
