The 13th Hike along the Isonzo Front Battlefields will take place on Saturday, with cyclists also being able to participate in the event commemorating the soldiers who died there.

The tour leads up and down the hills and through caverns and trenches, and will take some four hours for walkers and somewhat less for cyclists. It will start at 9 AM in the town of Solkan.

Those who find the hike too much of an effort can try the 16th Autumn Hike in Vodice, which will also take place on Saturday, inviting recreationists of all ages to get some fresh air and socialise.

The route runs through four municipalities - Vodice, Ljubljana, Trzin and Mengeš.
