Bulk of Left's proposals for Mercator thrown out at committee

Ljubljana, 26 October - The parliamentary Finance and Monetary Policy Committee discussed the opposition Left's proposals that would effectively lead to a nationalisation of retailer Mercator. Most of the proposals were thrown out but MPs did task the anti-graft commission and the state prosecution with investigating potential wrongdoing in the 2014 sale of Mercator.
