Slovenia marks 500 years since protestant reformation
Murska Sobota, 27 October - The 500 anniversary of the Protestant Reformation movement was marked on Friday with a ceremony in Murska Sobota, the home to a Lutheran community. Upper chamber president Mitja Bervar said in his keynote that protestantism united a fragmented Slovenian national community, building the foundations for a free state five centuries later.
