For sports enthusiasts: literary hike or run around Kras
Ljubljana, 8 November - Fans of recreation will have plenty of choice over the weekend, as the turning of must into wine is celebrated with a number of hikes and runs on St. Martin's Day on Saturday.

A major hiking event will take place between Litija and Čatež, tracing a literary journey by author Fran Levstik in the mid-19th century.
Hikers will start in Litija between 6 and 9 AM. On the 22-kilometre route to Čatež, which offers a number of vistas, over a dozen homesteads will serve fresh food and drinks. More information is available at http://levstik.si/.
Those more interested in running will have a chance to take part in a 10-km or 5-km run in Kras, a region in the south-west. The traditional event will culminate in the celebrations of St. Martin's Day after the run. More information is available at: www.tekaskipozdrav.si
