Stock market index gains almost a percent

Ljubljana, 8 November - Boards flashed green on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Wednesday, pushing the SBI TOP index of blue chips 0.92% higher to 792.07 points. Reinsurer Sava Re topped the winners' column with a 1.81% gain to EUR 16.30. Overall trading volume was EUR 691,270, a third of which was made in insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav stock.
