Trade unionist says reports on Cimos layoffs premature

Koper, 16 November - Media reports that the new Italian owner of the automotive supplier Cimos intends to lay off a total of 147 workers in Slovenia are premature, Sašo Ristič, the head of the regional chapter of the SKEI metal industry union, told the STA after the first round of talks with the company. The number of redundant workers is not known yet, he said.
