UN committee unanimously backs Slovenia's World Honey Bee Day initiative
New York, 18 November - The UN Economic and Financial Committee unanimously backed on Friday a resolution on declaring 20 May World Honey Bee Day. The resolution, initiated by Slovenia, is now to be formally confirmed by the UN General Assembly, expectedly in mid-December, the Agriculture Ministry said on Saturday.
