Rebuilt Slovenia start Basketball World Cup qualifiers
Ljubljana, 24 November - The Slovenian national basketball team have gathered for the first time after winning the EuroBasket in September to start a qualifying series for the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup. The strongly rebuilt team does not feature its biggest stars from EuroBasket, captain Goran Dragić and teenage prodigy Luka Dončić.
