German consultancy: Slovenian railways workforce oversized by 20%

Ljubljana, 20 November - A cost analysis carried out by German consultancy TransCare together with the management of Slovenske železnice has suggested the group around the state-owned railways operator could manage without 1,460 of its 7,400 employees. TransCare has proposed 22 measures it says could save EUR 84m in a few years, EUR 18m already in the first year.
