MPs recommend govt promote EU-wide ban on plastics

Ljubljana, 21 November - The National Assembly endorsed unanimously a recommendation for the government to advocate an EU-wide ban on plastic bags, cups, plates and other non-reusable food containers on Tuesday. The move comes after an outright ban proposed by the opposition Left was rejected by the relevant parliamentary committee earlier this month.
