Slovenia gets new upper chamber with many newcomers
Ljubljana, 23 November - A new National Council was elected on Wednesday and Thursday in Slovenia. There are quite a few new names among those elected to represent various interest groups. Moreover, controversial former Maribor Mayor Franc Kangler managed a return to the upper chamber after he was stripped of his term five years ago due to a prison sentence.
