Support for defence bill uncertain

Ljubljana, 1 December - The parliamentary Defence Committee will discuss a new defence bill on Friday. It is unclear whether the document, which requires a two-thirds majority to be passed in parliament, will be endorsed by the committee at second reading, as the coalition is unwilling to accept all of the amendments proposed by the opposition.
