Weekly review of events involving Slovenia, 1-7 December

Ljubljana, 8 December - With the deadline for the implementation of the arbitration award approaching, the border dispute with Croatia featured prominent this week. Croatia even floated the idea that the tribunal's award be repackaged as a bilateral deal, but that was rejected by PM Miro Cerar. The EU reiterated its willingness to assist both countries in reaching a deal.
