SDS proposal to cut VAT voted down
Ljubljana, 14 December - A Democrats' (SDS) proposal to bring VAT to pre-crisis levels was deemed unfit for further reading by the National Assembly on Thursday as coalition MPs argued this would affect the goals in public financial consolidation. In addition, several parties rejected the SDS's argument that the lower VAT would be reflected in lower prices.
