UKC Ljubljana starts applying cardiac pacemakers without surgery
Ljubljana, 20 December - The UKC Ljubljana hospital has started applying first cardiac pacemakers without surgical procedure. With the size of a vitamin capsule, the smallest cardiac pacemakers in the world are installed by means of a puncture in a vein in the groin.
