Gen energija boss says Slovenia needs 2nd nuclear reactor

Krško, 2 January - The head of state-owned power utility Gen energija Martin Novšak has told the STA that electricity prices are bound to continue rising in 2018 but that consumers will only start feeling this in 2019. Given the rising demand, Novšak argued the time is ripe for a second reactor at the Krško Nuclear Power Plant (NEK).
