Govt okays signing strike-averting deal with firefighters

Ljubljana, 4 January - The government has authorised Defence Minister Andreja Katič to sign a strike-averting deal with professional firefighters after their trade union okayed the latest government proposal. The deal and the relevant annex to the collective bargaining agreement are expected to be signed on Friday.
