The main event of the torch-carrying will take place tomorrow in Mojstrana, an Alpine village that boasts 21 Olympic athletes, the most of any town in the country.

The torch will also stop in Tržič, Celje, Velenje, Maribor and Črna na Koroškem. It will return to Ljubljana on 29 January for the official presentation of Slovenia's Olympic team.

The torch will be accompanied throughout the tour by former hockey player Tomaž Razingar, who will also head the Slovenian fans in Korea during the Olympics between 9 and 25 February.

"I am very honoured. I hope that we'll get to know many young athletes at these events. I wish that many boys and girls decide to take up a sport," said Razingar, adding that the goal of the project was to create an Olympic atmosphere.
