Public health spending bigger than planned in 2017
Ljubljana, 29 January - The Health Insurance Institute (ZZZS), the public health insurer, saw revenue increase by EUR 165m to EUR 2.68bn in 2017, mostly on account of higher mandatory health insurance premiums, preliminary figures show. The bulk of the extra money was channelled into reducing waiting times.
