Caritas launches Rwanda project co-funded by govt

Ljubljana, 31 January - Caritas Slovenia launched on Wednesday a government-cofunded project in western Rwanda to enable 600 families in the hilly Karongi district to engage in sustainable farming. Funds will be used for field irrigation and for the construction of hillside terraces to prevent erosion, among other things.
