Around 60,000 attend international carnival parade in Ptuj

Ptuj, 11 February - An estimated 60,000 people attended in Ptuj on Sunday the biggest among several carnival processions around the country. The spectacle, centred around the scary, sheep-skin wearing Kurents, featured 2,500 carnival figures from Slovenia, France, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Serbia, Macedonia, Slovakia and Belgium.
