Ljubljana, 16 February - The public sector strike wave culminated this week, as police officers, nurses and teachers staged separate strikes, demanding higher pay. As many as 20,000 teachers turned out for a massive rally in the capital. Sports fans rejoiced as biathlete Jakov Fak won the first medal for Slovenia at the Winter Olympics in PyeongChang.
