Poor prospects for Slovenian minority in Italian election

Rome, 17 February - Several members of the Slovenian minority will stand in the Italian general election in March, but the chances of any of them winning a seat are considered very slim. Italy overhauled its election law last year, making it easier for minorities to get into parliament, but the Slovenian community still depends on the good will of political parties.
