New public procurement law to protect workers
Ljubljana, 20 February - The National Assembly passed on Tuesday changes to the public procurement act that are to prevent violations of workers' rights. Under the changes, state institutions and companies will be able to break off a public contract with a company if it or its subcontractor violate labour, environmental or social legislation.
