Ljubljana, 22 February - Major General Alan Geder, the newly appointed chief of the general staff of the Slovenian Armed Forces, has been with the Slovenian military since its beginnings in the late 1980s. A graduate of physical education, he only acquired a military education after Slovenia gained independence.
