Fiscal Council warns against tax cuts, increased budget spending pre-election
Ljubljana, 23 February - Slovenia's fiscal policy watchdog has warned that giving in to demands by the public to lower taxes and increase budget spending ahead of the upcoming parliamentary election could jeopardise Slovenia's public finance, calling on politicians to refrain from following short-term goals.
