Contributions to pension fund highest since 1996 last year

Ljubljana, 26 February - The revenue and expenditure of the Pension and Disability Insurance Institute (ZPIZ) were balanced in 2017, rising by 0.2% to EUR 5.1bn, according to a report released on Monday. Contributions paid by employees and employers into the state-run pension fund accounted for almost 75.7% of the revenue, the highest proportion since 1996.
