Man dies of hypothermia after falling outside his home
Maribor/Ormož, 28 February - The cold spell that has gripped Slovenia since Sunday has claimed a human life. With temperatures well below the freezing point, an older man was found dead on Tuesday after seemingly falling just outside his door. Another man is fighting for his life at the Maribor UKC hospital.

Slovenia recorded the lowest temperatures this year, with many areas experiencing lows around or even below -20 degrees Celsius.
