Parties divided on best date for early election

Ljubljana, 20 March - The first round of consultations held by President Borut Pahor on the date of the general election suggests the largest two parties, the senior coalition Modern Centre Party (SMC) and the opposition Democrats (SDS), want the parliament deal with urgent issues before the election, while the junior coalition parties want the earliest possible date.
