Slovenia remembers quake that ravaged Soča Valley 20 years ago
Ljubljana, 12 April - Two decades will have passed on Thursday since a devastating earthquake nearly demolished much of the Soča Valley but fortunately saw no casualties. With a magnitude of 5.6, the quake shook almost the entire country shortly before 1 PM on Easter Sunday and was felt as far as Switzerland and Germany.
