Data privacy bill passage unlikely before GDPR takes effect

Ljubljana, 12 April - The government rushed to adopt last week a bill to implement a key piece of EU legislation about personal data privacy, but the bill seems unlikely to make it through parliament before 25 May, when the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) takes effect.
