Railway operator signs EUR 196m contract for 26 new trains

Ljubljana, 17 April - National railway operator Slovenske Železnice (SŽ) signed in Ljubljana on Tuesday a EUR 169m contract with Swiss company Stadler Rail to buy 26 passenger trains. SŽ boss Dušan Mes labelled the contract the first step towards modernisation of passenger rail traffic in Slovenia.
