Bee house of Slovenian pioneer beekeeper renovated for World Bee Day

Žirovnica, 15 May - A renovated bee house built in 1877 on the site where celebrated 18th-century beekeeper Anton Janša used to tend his bees in the village of Breznica near Žirovnica was officially opened on Tuesday ahead of the first World Bee Day, which the UN declared last December at Slovenia's initiative.
