Stock market index gains almost one percent

Ljubljana, 16 May - The SBI TOP index of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange was up 0.85% to 897.04 points on Wednesday, as household appliances maker Gorenje gained an additional 3.07% to edge closer to the EUR 12 offered by Chinese bidder Hisense, on volumes reaching EUR 4.38m. Total volumes reached EUR 5.57m.
