SocDems endorsed by German sister party ahead of election
Ljubljana, 29 May - The Social Democrats (SD) were endorsed ahead of the 3 June election by the president of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD), Andrea Nahles, as she paid an official visit to Slovenia on Tuesday. Nahles and SD president Dejan Židan agreed that the EU needs to remain strong, while rejecting nationalist ideas.
