Stock market index up quarter a percent

Ljubljana, 5 July - The SBI TOP index of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange was up 0.25% to 880.11 points on Thursday, with Telekom Slovenije being the only blue chip to lose ground. The winner of the day was chemical company Cinkarna Celje (1.15% to EUR 263), while drug maker Krka was the most coveted item with just shy of EUR 1m in deals. Total volumes reached EUR 2.35m.
