Setback for law enforcement as retroactivity of asset seizure struck down

Ljubljana, 23 July - The Constitutional Court has dealt a blow to law enforcement by striking down a provision of the 2011 act on the seizure of illegally gained assets that made the legislation retroactive. Several major cases of asset forfeiture might be affected.
