Chairman of Writers' Association resigns

Ljubljana, 1 August - Ivo Svetina, the head of the Slovenian Writers' Association, has stepped down. In a letter sent to the association's members on Monday, he said that "I notified the management board of my irrevocable resignation on 22 June", citing various reasons, including those of personal nature.
