Swiss woman gets hefty fine for leaving dogs in car

Lucija, 2 August - A Swiss woman was fined nearly EUR 2,000 for leaving two dogs in an overheated car in the seaside town of Lucija on Wednesday. The police were called by a waitress serving the woman, who had left the car in the sun in front of the bar as temperatures were inching into the upper 30s at about 2 PM.
